- The Fishbowl Life:You have to be comfortable living in a monitored house outfitted with cameras and microphones recording you 24/7. Expect zero privacy and a very public microscope analyzing your every move.
How the Process Works
Gone are the days of wrapping around city blocks for open casting calls. The entire initial casting process is handled online.
- The Online Application: You will need to fill out a comprehensive application detailing who you are, what you do, and why you belong on television.
- The Video Pitch: This is your golden ticket. You must upload a recent photo and a short video introducing yourself. This isn’t the time to be modest; producers are sifting through thousands of videos looking for immediate charisma, strong viewpoints, and dynamic personalities.
- The Interviews:If you catch a casting producer’s eye, you’ll be moved into the Semi-Finals, which are typically conducted virtually via Zoom, email or phone call.Make it past that, and you’ll be whisked away for a rigorous final selection process (travel and accommodations are often covered by the producers).
