Tychon Carter-Newman makes history has the first black winner of the popular reality franchise of Big Brother in North America after nearly 31 seasons of the reality hit across Canada and USA.
“I think that was really a big part of why I wanted to play this game,” he told ET Canada. “It is because I wanted to be that person…or making sure that happened.”
On the final night when previously evicted houseguests returned to pick the winner, Tychon won by a 6-1 vote over the runner-up Breydon White.
Tychon took home $110,000 cash and a trip from two. Well runner up Breydon won $20,000 and for the first time ever Canada voted on their favourite player with Kiefer taking home $10,000.
