Big Brother Canada is hitting a huge milestone in Canadian Television with the announcement of Big Brother Canada Season 10 confirmed for the 2022 broadcast schedule on Global in Spring which host Arisa Cox and once again executive producer for the upcoming season revealed at todays Corus Upfronts.
This comes just a day after City TV has revealed the Canada’s Got Talent would be revived after only 1 season , and nine-year hiatus since it last aired in 2012. with Simon Cowell expected to take part of.
“Following an incredibly successful season with our most diverse cast, the highest number of brand integrations, and the most innovative show twists to date – all while shooting during a pandemic –we are proud to greenlight another new season of Big Brother Canada,” said Lisa Godfrey, Senior Vice President of Original Content and Corus Studios.
The show will be continued by long time producers Insight Producers with majority of the exec team in tac. Noticeably absent on the mention of executive producers today was long time producer/challenge/Marsha The Moose Trevor Boris who recently announced he would be the showrunner on the upcoming new season of Canada’s Drag Race.
Stay tuned in the coming months for casting details which usually emerge around August with long time casting director of BBCAN and the American version Robyn Kass will be returning after she recently stepped down from casting the 23rd season of Big Brother US.
